At Susquehanna Trail Animal Hospital, we recommend annual blood testing using the 4dx blood test. This test is run in-hospital with a small sample of blood with test results in just eight minutes. The test screens for heartworm disease and tick-borne disease exposure (Lyme, Ehrlichia, and Anaplasma).
